National Science Foundation Natural Hazards Engineering Research Infrastructure (NHERI) (NSF 15-598) 10/5/2015 11/4/2015 NHERI will enable research and educational advances that can contribute knowledge and innovation for the nation's civil infrastructure and communities to prevent natural hazard events from becoming societal disasters. National Science Foundation  Major Research Instrumentation Program (MRI) (15-504) 10/26/2015 1/13/2016 This program provides organizations with opportunities to acquire major instrumentation that supports the research and research training goals of the organization. The program requires that if an organization submits or is included as a significantly funded subawardee in three MRI proposals, at least one of the three proposals must be for (Track 2) instrument development.
