New Electronic Subaward Request Form


The Office of Research has partnered with Contraxx by Ecteon to develop a new electronic process for submitting outgoing subaward requests.  Research Administrators can log into to submit a subaward request to the Office of Research.  This electronic form, which can be accessed from the Office of Research forms page and subawards page, will replace the paper subaward request form and contains many of the same questions.  Other features include:

- A User’s Guide to help navigate the website
- Secure access through Pitt’s Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Ability to start a subaward request, save it, and submit it at a later time
- Help text for questions
- Smart form logic, so that questions appear or disappear based on previous answers
- Subaward status updates
- Website communications from the Office of Research

Administrators are encouraged to begin submitting subaward requests using the new electronic form on Monday, August 7.  Paper subaward request forms will no longer be accepted beginning Monday, August 14.  Subawards that were requested using the paper form will continue to have status updates in InfoEd until they are fully executed.  Electronic subaward requests can be tracked on the homepage once the requester logs in to the website.
On Friday, August 11 from 10am to 11am in Benedum Hall 102, the Office of Research will provide a demo of the electronic subaward request form and answer questions.  Please register here to attend.
