Adarsh Cavale is a Senior Data Analyst in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research (OSVCR), where he supports the Director of Research Analytics, Marcela Gomez. His primary responsibilities include enhancing the research data pipeline at Pitt and leading the maintenance of the Research Discovery Tool. Cavale works closely with OSVCR leadership to provide monthly reports, dashboards and technical insights using machine learning and data science.
Cavale earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020. In 2024, he completed his MS in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University, with a focus in machine learning and artificial intelligence model development. Prior to joining OSVCR, Cavale worked with Pitt Athletics as an IT analyst and data scientist.
