All Pitt faculty and staff are invited to the second annual Internal Funding Showcase: Fueling Our Future to be held on September 2, 2021 from 1– 3p.m. in the University Club, Ballrooms A & B.

Hosted by the Offices of the Provost and the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research, this event is a celebration of the transformative research that’s being done across all disciplines leading to new knowledge. We are excited to officially celebrate the faculty who are brimming with innovative ideas through both research and in teaching. 

This year’s showcase will honor the awardees of the 2021 Pitt Momentum Funds (PMF), Pitt Seed and other internal funding awards. Chancellor Patrick Gallagher will open the event and his remarks will be followed by a panel discussion led by Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor Ann E. Cudd and Senior Vice Chancellor for Research Rob A. Rutenbar. Guests will then have an opportunity to speak with the awardees of PMF and Pitt Seed and learn more about their engaging research at the poster session.
